On September 5th, Shanghai Hanwan International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. welcomed its first professional leader and associate professor from Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Transportation, Zhou Wen, for a two month on-the-job training and mentoring program.

As a counterpart support and cooperation area of Shanghai, Yunnan Province has maintained close cooperation with Shanghai in multiple fields such as education, industry, and talent for a long time.

This year, the Education Department of Yunnan Province and the Education Commission of Shanghai have agreed to select 15 outstanding teachers from major universities in Yunnan Province to go to Shanghai for on-the-job training, including Professor Zhou Wen from the Logistics Management major of Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Transportation.

According to the unified arrangement of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the School of Lifelong Education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University will undertake the project of "Selecting Outstanding Talents in Higher Vocational Education to Follow up and Study in Shanghai" from Yunnan Province.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University has assigned Professor Zhou Wen's on-the-job training task to the Shanghai International Freight Forwarding Industry Association, which attaches great importance to it. After careful research and screening, Secretary General Sun Xin has finally selected Shanghai Hanwan International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., the vice president unit of the Shanghai International Freight Forwarding Industry Association and an AAA enterprise in the credit rating evaluation of Shanghai International Freight Forwarding, to undertake this on-the-job training task.

In order to do a good job in the on-the-job training of Teacher Zhou Wen, a symposium was held with the participation of three parties.

Hanwan Group Chairman Wang Xu first warmly welcomed the visit of Teacher Zhou Wen, and then briefly introduced the overview of Hanwan Group. Hanwan Group was founded in 2009 and currently has 200 employees, covering multiple international logistics service products such as FCL, LCL, air freight, e-commerce, etc. The company has accumulated rich industry professional experience through hard work, progress, and development.

Through these simple introductions, Teacher Zhou Wen can quickly familiarize herself with the overall operation of the enterprise, so as to better carry out follow-up work.

Afterwards, Teacher Zhou Wen introduced the brief situation of Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Transportation, my professional expertise, and the task of this on-the-job training.

The party building leader of the Shanghai International Freight Forwarding Industry Association pointed out at the meeting that Hanwan Group actively undertakes the task of on-the-job training for teachers in Yunnan universities, fully reflecting the responsibility of private enterprises towards social responsibility.
